Expiring Domains List – High DR Expired Domains to Backorder

An expiring domain is a registered domain whose owner did not renew it. After the grace and redemption periods it is deleted by the registry and becomes available again, unless someone catches it with a backorder first.

Click Backorder next to the domain, create your account and place a backorder request in the control panel. The backorder tries to register the domain the moment it is deleted. If several people backorder the same domain, it usually goes to an auction.

Domain Rating is an Ahrefs metric from 0 to 100 that shows the strength of a website's backlink profile. Expired domains with a higher DR usually have more and stronger links pointing to them.

An aged domain with clean, relevant backlinks can give a new website a head start: existing links, brand history and type-in traffic. Always check the link profile and archive history for spam before you buy.

The list is updated every day. Domains are removed automatically once they have been deleted or caught, and new expiring domains are added with fresh Ahrefs metrics.

For most generic domains such as .com and .net, a domain that is not renewed goes through a grace period of up to 45 days, a 30-day redemption period and 5 days of pending delete. It is then deleted and becomes available to register again, usually within minutes of the drop.

They can be. An expired domain with clean, relevant backlinks and a real website history can help a new site get started faster. A domain with spam links, a penalty or an unrelated history can do the opposite, so always check the link profile before you buy.

Look at the referring domains and anchor texts, check the site's history in the Wayback Machine, compare DR with organic traffic and avoid domains with links from adult, casino or pharma spam sites unless that matches your niche.
